utterly in love with this. legitimately one of the sweetest things i’ve seen/heard in a long time. *swoon*
with 2012 fast approaching and 2011 finally coming to a close* i am excited to make the new year as awesome as possible! therefore, my new year’s “resolution” is to choose joy no matter what. how will i reach such a lofty goal, you may ask? well, taking an idea from a high school friend and tweaking it just a little bit, i have decided to focus on a different task/project/what-have-you each week in 2012. how convenient that day 1 of the new year is on a sunday, eh? love it! :-) anyway! my plan is to sit down each tuesday of the preceding week (at the very latest) and plan 1 thing to accomplish by 11:59pm saturday of the following week. my first week of the new year, i will be starting the year with a blank slate by organizing my living space. i’m going to purge my belongings, figure out what stays and what goes, and begin 2012 in a clean and peaceful environment. other ideas i’ve been throwing around for the weeks to come are: sign up for a continuing ed class (such as something in the IT field, another language class, etc), study french each day this week, practice my guitar for at least x amount of time each day this week, make a gift for someone who’s been on my heart this week, etc…
i’m super pumped to start this year off right, and i think that 52 weeks will help me do so!
